Zero Pollution: design of a river tourist pontoon with electric propulsion based on hydrogen fuel cell

Environmental logistics in Colombian river areas requires solutions that allow economic development based on tourism, without ecological degradation. Therefore, this paper shows the most relevant aspects of project and preliminary design a Pontoon-type vessel with catamaran hull 8 meters length enough power to reach speed 5 knots (85%MCR) built aluminum, which will also have electric propulsion hydrogen fuel cell, using renewable energies such as solar panels roof wind turbine. One its main characteristics is it be pollution-free ship classification done following regulations Bureau Veritas, all those national international are applicable. Due problems generated by daily use different means transportation, undoubtedly, could generate an irreversible affectation environment considerable loss biodiversity aquatic ecosystems, worsens over time, prototype might presented shipbuilding, possibility for designing eco-friendly tourist vessels country's areas, example future constructions expected rise tourism country.
